Dealer school, also known as a casino dealer training program, is an educational program within the casino where aspiring individuals learn the skills and techniques required to become professional casino dealers.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
 

- Dealer School is FREE TO ATTEND if selected 

- PAID DEALER SCHOOL 

- Candidates are eligible for day one benefits

- Dealer School will run for 3 weeks (5 days a week, 8 hours a day)

- Blackjack classes will begin on June 3rd.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF DEALER SCHOOL REQUIRES 

- Must be at least 21 years of age 

- High school diploma or GED required 

- Adhere to Dealer School Attendance Policy: No more than 2 absences over the duration of the class. A missed class = 1 absence, a tardy = .5 absence. Days off from class must be pre-approved by instructor. Candidates dismissed from class due to exceeding 2 points may attend a future class but must re-apply and re-interview  

- Must be fast and accurate in handling cash 

- Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers, and collecting and paying out bets • 

- Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money  

- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality
