- Counts and verifies all VLT drop boxes, VLT Machine Bill Validator, and Food and Beverage drop.

- Prepares appropriate paperwork and makes necessary computer entries.

- Responsible for collecting VLT drop and bill validator drop.

- Performs VLT weighing and coin wrapping process.

- Transports wrapped and counted coin to vault.

- Prepares booth and main bank buys.

- Test all scales at booth and in the hard count room daily.

- Responsible for accurate accountability of the cashier department activity

- Performing in a pleasant, efficient, an honest manner at all times

- Will also be responsible for accurately completing and updating electronic MTL/MiL

- Verification of front line cashier transactions over $1,000.00; verification of hand-to-hand transactions between cashiers; conduct transactions with other departments as needed, in the absence of Assistant Supervisor or above

- This position must be able to perform Cashier duties as needed

- Understanding department objectives, standards, and guidelines

- Knowledgeable of racino policies for all cashier areas

- Maintaining security and accountability over all funds, to include coins, cash currency, foreign cash currency, and paperwork

- Observing and verify funds received and disbursed to other departments, guests and transactions between cashiers

- Verifying all Cashier and Main Bank paperwork is accurately completed prior to sending to accounting/Audit

- All internal guests must be treated with prompt, courteous and friendly service

- Flexible schedule and must be willing to assist in any cashiering area as needed and instructed to do so by the Cashier Lead/Supervisor on duty

- Ensuring accurate compliance with E-MTL/MiL paperwork and entry      

- Performing the duties of front line cashiers as business demands

- Performing check cashing transactions

- Thorough knowledge of the paid in/out guidelines

- Working with Vault to ensure timely process of buys

- Balancing shift cage paperwork for VLT, Front Windows, and other miscellaneous departments

- Accurately process Fast Cash Ticket Redemption, end of shift process

- Willing to work various shifts and days off

- Ability to work in an environment of various levels of noise and large crowds

- Ability to stand on feet throughout shift - Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

- Ability to write simple correspondence.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other team members of the organization.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Some basic computer skills are needed

- Must be able to obtain an OH Gaming License.

- Previous experience handling large amounts of money. Some experience with currency counting machines is preferred.  Must have good math skills.

- Must be 21 years of age or older. individual must be able to work in an enclosed/secured area, have good ethics and good attendance record.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The team member is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift 25 pounds and push cart into place (more than 100 pounds) with another team member. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. individual must be in good physical condition to unload carts and bill validator boxes and push carts into place to count.

- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles dust. The team member is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
