WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Overseeing for the overall security of the casino and support facilities in the absence of the Director of Security
  • Following all Security Policies and Procedures, as they apply to the Accounting, internal Controls and Ohio Gaming Board Rules and Regulations.
  • Establishing priorities, plan, supervise and insure open lines of communication exist between security and other departments
  • Hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating security personnel 
  • Formulating, implementing and enforcing the rules and regulations of the Security Department
  • Reviewing all logs, and reports before the end of their shift 
  • Performing the functions of the Security Officer or Dispatcher, as needed

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of prior casino security or surveillance experience 
  • Must have 2 to 3 years previous supervisory experience 
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
  • Ability to work in an environment, which may be noisy 
  • Tactfulness when dealing with difficult team members, guests or situations 
  • Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems, conflicts and to defend oneself and others in combative situations
  • Run on level or graded surfaces, as well as the ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Ability to multi-task as required, managers may be required to deal with many situations at one time and work well with all departments
  • Ability to adapt and adjust as necessary
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 35lbs., and the ability to push , pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job related duties in varying work areas, such as confined spaces

STARTING SALARY
