WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance tasks, in addition to minor repairs to hotel and pool areas, RV park, golf course, back of house, and other non-gaming areas. This includes but is not limited to basic plumbing, flooring, upholstery, carpentry, painting, etc.   Reports potential issues and/or concerns to Manager as needed.
  • Responds to guest repair requests as dispatched and accurately maintains parts/equipment inventory.  Reports and escalates potential issues and/or concerns to Manager as needed.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Assists with ordering parts for maintenance projects as needed.
  • Completes checklists of physical condition of hotel and RV park sites prior to and after guest occupancy. Reports all maintenance issues and concerns that may be identified while performing daily duties to manager on duty as needed.
  • Ensures resort operations areas are presentable and guest ready at all times.  Assists resort operations departments with debris pick up as needed.
  • Assists Facilities department with back of house and non-gaming maintenance tasks as needed.  This includes but not limited to basic plumbing, flooring, upholstery, carpentry, painting, etc.   Reports potential issues and/or concerns to Manager as needed.
  • Assists with all resort operations maintenance and construction projects and suggests best practice for using in-house resources or outside vendors as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining shop area, spare parts area, storage area, inventory materials, equipment and associated parts related to the department.
  • Follows all company, safety, and security procedures.  Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to Manager.
  • Assists EVS, Facilities, Golf Operations, Housekeeping, and Hotel department as needed.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of basic maintenance functions and/or Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Carpentry trades preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate all tools of the trades including power tools safely, maintaining and caring for those tools on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
