- Inspect equipment daily and ensure that it is in proper working condition to maintain the track and barn area; correct issues as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
- Keep daily records of all work that is performed on each piece of equipment.
- Repair/maintain equipment including but not limited to oil filter and tire changes, fluid refilling, greasing, etc.
- Initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
- Knowledge and experience of welding.
- Mandatory snow removal.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Must qualify for the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission license.
- Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pound.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and working with equipment in hard to reach areas.
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
