  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies.
  • Assist in creating strategic plans, execution plans and promotions calendar.
  • Assist in the oversight of media used to communicate current and upcoming brand and promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing the marketing efforts and communication efforts for the company with a consistent and appropriate voice.
  • Share responsibility for assessing, anticipating, and reacting to the competitive marketplace regarding marketing strategies, programs, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Coordinates with Shared Services Teams to ensure creative requests are opened in a timely manner and all information provided is correct to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee the approval process regarding CRM Marketing and loyalty offers to ensure mailings and emails are approved in a timely manner and meet established deadlines.
  • Ensure social media, web and digital initiatives are monitored for opportunities to engage in active and relevant conversations about the property.
  • Expertise with all company Brand and Loyalty programs and systems and provides input to improve direct marketing Brand efforts.
  • Assist in negotiating and implementing marketing sponsorships in relation to sports teams, radio, and other third-party relationships.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing and negotiation.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior internal and external customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for supervising direct reports, encouraging ongoing team member learning and development, and fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Accountable for supervising and managing staff in the following areas of the Marketing Department: Database Marketing, Advertising, and Social Media.
  • Accountable for creating effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Requires customer service standards are followed by department team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Assists in ensuring team member compliance with legal and company policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in marketing, finance, or related field; two years progressively more challenging roles in marketing or operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail and social media required.
  • Proven time-management, creativity and critical thinking skills required.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, vendors, and other contacts.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic, tactful, and positive manner.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
