  •  Assists in the direction of all Food & Beverage operations. Supports, administers, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures guest service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.  Responsible for the overall achievement of department guest service goals.    
  • Able to think strategically and operationally about factors such as: pricing, quality, marketing, price/value perceptions, guest satisfaction, employee training and development as they relate to overall Food & Beverage products
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Assists Multi-Restaurant Managers to ensure efficient sanitary and pleasant service for all guests.
  • Ensures that the receiving, holding and issuance, production and service of products are within the quality and control standards.
  • Assist Multi-Restaurant Managers with administrative duties, as assigned.
  • Assists in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Associates degree (A.A) in related field; two years of Food and Beverage experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two years previous supervisory experience required.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, and the general public.
  • Able to communicate well among staff and be guest service oriented.
  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning, and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
  •  Provides recommendation for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling).

 

STARTING SALARY

Starting pay $35,568 a year, based on experience
