MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

· Establishing and maintaining relationships with gaming guests while marketing the property and gaming product to potential high-end players.

· Bringing new and telemarketing existing business through the use of casino promotions, special events, and direct marketing offers.

· Responding to guest concerns, issues, and inquires in a timely manner.

· Reviewing and understanding casino play.

· Bringing meaningful and profitable business to the property while ensuring all complimentary and credit policies and procedures are observed.

· Developing both new local and out of market business through frequent Player Development trips.

· Submitting guest room reservations.

· Assisting other departments in their relationships with guests as a liaison, participate in special and social events, and assist in the event of collection issues.

· Provide input into the strategy and use of casino promotions, special events, and direct marketing offers to encourage player growth and increase revenue.

· Reviewing and approving casino credit applications while adhering to department and company credit policies and procedures.

· Meeting and maintaining departmental goals for this position.

EXPERIENCE: Must have minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Casino Host or equivalent in a Player Development environment at a major gaming operation.

 

EDUCATION: Must have a college degree or comparable work experience in Casino Marketing at a major gaming operation.

 

SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak English. Good organizational and telephone skills. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner. Ability to work effectively with staff, other department personnel, guests, and management. Must have a proven track record of personally providing excellent guest service. Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to guests, both internal and external at all times. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. Working knowledge of casino and hotel computer programs is required. Knowledge of casino games is preferred. Data entry experience is required. Must be detail orientated and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel is required.

 

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Gaming and Alcohol Awareness cards.
