ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to casino guests in accordance with Hollywood Casino Perryville policies, procedures and standards.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and awareness of new drink trends.
  • Responsible for mixing drinks to deliver to guests.
  • Work as part of a team to provide beverage service as well as share gratuities with other Team members as appropriate.
  • Monitor guests needs on a continuous basis and ensures all requests are promptly fulfilled.
  • Maintains appearance of casino floor and work area.
  • Accurate and efficient use of POS system.
  • Monitor guests alcohol intake in accordance with training
  • Assist other beverage personnel with maintenance such as side work and opening/closing duties.
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, bar backs, supervisors, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Will adhere to all policies, procedures, rules and regulations of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Perryville, and the Maryland State Lottery.
  • Assist with Marketing & Promotions as needed.
  • Will adhere to the “Appearance Standards for Beverage Servers”
  • Declares tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.
  • Other duties as assigned

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, a Team member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.  High School diploma or equivalent and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Basic computer knowledge.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must qualify for a license with the Maryland State Lottery Agency and meet any credentialing requirements of the Maryland Gaming Control Board.
