The Marketing Analytics Manager is all about querying and synthesizing first-party data to deliver easy-to-consume dashboards and data stories that fuel smart strategic reporting & recommendations for omnichannel casino and hotel marketing clients. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics & Insights, this role will enable gaming & hospitality marketers across the company to make more, better, and faster data-driven decisions during this transformational time in our business.  

 

Join a team of curious, creative analytics professionals delivering insights through analytics product delivery that leverages omnichannel performance, customer behavior and hotel revenue management data. 

  • Crafts and delivers data story presentations (to all levels of internal marketing clients) with efficiency and business context.  
  • Proactively identifies growth opportunities; provides recommendations to help marketers across the company improve response, performance, and profitability. 
  • Builds timely dashboards and custom analyses to illustrate the health of the business and to quantify effects of various marketing initiatives. Improves dashboards and source tables as needed for efficiency.  
  • Key contributor to data strategy planning with BI and Marketing leaders for casino, interactive, and hotel data. 
  • Creates presentations for budget meetings and operational reviews as needed. 
  • Actively demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.

You rock at telling a story through data analysis, and you’ve also got strong tech skills (like SQL coding and applied math) to tackle the tough business questions during this dynamic phase in our industry. 

 

  • Expert-level experience querying and manipulating data using SQL is required 
  • Experience building dashboards using data visualization tools including Tableau Desktop, and PowerBI is required. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required 
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Math, Marketing, or equivalent) from a four-year college or university 
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, operational analysis preferably with a gaming, hospitality or in other omnichannel-related organization. 
  • Experience in using statistics and data science tools on large datasets is required. 
  • Must have a strong knowledge of relational database, ability analyze and interpret data, strong knowledge of statistical modeling. 
  • Revenue management marketing experience preferred. 
  • Ability to combine large amount of data and information from different sources to discover patterns and features necessary to build models 
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented 
  • Ability to effectively visualize and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, including non-technical audiences 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required 
  • Experience with R or Python is a plus  
  • Revenue management experience a plus 
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, including projects that require a quick time frame 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Sole Contributor role - this job has no supervisory responsibilities.
