WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • To perform cleaning duties of all areas in the Cactus Petes Housing area, including studios, apartments, and trailers. 
  • Clean recently vacated units as assigned, including dusting, cleaning light fixtures, faucets, switches, doors, windows, polishing, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, blinds etc. Remove trash, and resupply linens or housewares as needed. Make beds if assigned. 
  • Vacuum and shampoo carpet and upholstery. Determine if smoking units need additional cleaning including painting or ozone treatment. 
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms and kitchens 
  • Create a list of items to be repaired or replaced to make the unit rent ready. 
  • Clean the Housing Office, laundry facilities, and common areas. 
  • Stock, receive, and refurbish housewares, cleaning supplies, and linens. Maintain inventory of same. 
  • Launder, repackage and store linens from vacated units for future use. 
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and securely store equipment and supplies. 
  • Follow cleaning schedule provided by the Assistant Property Manager. 
  • Completes any reports and report equipment malfunctions 
  • Respect resident’s privacy and belongings if unit is occupied. 
  • Reports equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the Assistant Property Manager. 
  • Report all concerns about a resident or a unit to the Assistant Property Manager. 
  • Perform minor repair and preventive maintenance to equipment. 
  • Must be able to work weekends and later shifts to accommodate move-in dates. 
  • Job tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards. 
  • Maintain a friendly and customer service approach to co-workers, tenants, and guests.
