SUMMARY Oversee all aspects of the electrical system operations for Hollywood Casino’s Central Pa locations, while supporting our York and Morgantown locations. Providing leadership and development to the rest of the electrical team.  Planning and executing electrical project while ensuring all of our electrical needs are met, all the while providing great customer service to our guests and staff. Travel will be required. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  • Lead and manage Central Pa’s team of Electrical technicians: Provide technical guidance, training, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure the team delivers high-quality work. 
  • Work with management to plan and execute electrical projects 
  • Plan and schedule the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment 
  • Plan, schedule and execute power and data requirements for slot machine moves 
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs: Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to optimize system performance, reliability, and identify potential issues before they escalate. 
  • Maintain documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all electrical equipment in our CMMS system 
  • Participate in active project pre-planning and job preparation 
  • Manage material per job to ensure that teams have the correct materials  
  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Set up and maintain an inventory of electrical parts, including various size fuses, wire, junction boxes, receptacle boxes, receptacles, etc., in order to respond to any electrical needs in a timely manner.  
  • Ensure all electrical panels are locked at all times, and electrical closets are clean and free of stored products.  
  • Check panels on a regular basis to ensure each panel has a legend for the active breakers and a list of spare breakers.  
  • Assist with any testing of electrical equipment performed by outside vendors, or by upper management.  
  • Perform daily rounds and create a checklist for monitoring the performance of all electrical systems throughout the property.  
  • Assist Electrical Technicians on property and monitor performance; check work upon completion to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.  
  • Perform electrical repairs, electrical modifications, and assist with planning electrical needs throughout the property.  
  • Meet with outside vendors and assist them with access to property electrical systems when vendors are on site to perform electrical repairs, maintenance, or modifications.   
  • Ensure vendors are approved to perform electrical tasks at the property and monitor any tasks being performed by the vendor.  
  • Monitor electrical system repairs and enforce safety procedures when aware of the tasks being performed, including lock out/tag out procedures.  
  • Inform management of any unsafe conditions immediately and take precautionary measures to protect team members, guests, and property.  
  • Assist management in setting up a preventive maintenance program for all electrical appliances, switchgear, and electrical systems.  
  • Assist in the process of restarting the electrical powered systems after a planned shutdown or power outage.

REQUIREMENTS 

 

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial electrical experience. 
  • Master electrician preferred, Journeyman license required 
  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate/Technical Degree preferred;  
  • 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
  • Must have commercial Electrical background in maintenance, repairs, and installation. 
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. 
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, and community members.  
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.  
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests.  
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.  
  • Must have the ability to write reports. - Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.  
  • Must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts to practical situations.  
  • Must have the ability to perform simple estimates for material quantities and costs.    
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.  
  • Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.  

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.   

 

Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
