Education and/or Experience: A two-year degree in the building maintenance trades with two-year’s experience in industrial/commercial building maintenance experience and a basic proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, general maintenance, electrical, HVAC, kitchen, and/or painting, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience in large commercial or industrial building maintenance is preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Gain the ability to read and interpret common schematics and mechanical drawings. Gain the ability to respond to inquiries or requests from fellow team members and customers. Must have an ability to receive and follow directions.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Team Member is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, push, pull, carry, reach, bend, twist and talk or hear when performing job duties in varying work areas. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Team Members must be drug and nicotine free.
