WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • With experience in building maintenance, this position maintains and supports maintenance of the property assets with some direct supervision and/or training direction.
  • Perform scheduled and nonscheduled repairs, maintenance and installation of machinery, tools, equipment and/or associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property.
  • Performs preventive maintenance in conjunction with all building maintenance and/or cleanliness related items.
  • Submit parts requests associated with repairs, upkeep, and improvements.
  • Directly or indirectly support all exterior grounds activities in the parking area and other exterior area needs.
  • Maintain small electrical or gasoline motorized equipment.
  • Perform painting, structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, wallpaper and treatments, and furnishings of buildings.
  • Directly or indirectly support the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and water distribution, including fire suppression and waste removal.
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Racing. Will be an active participant of Safety compliance procedures.
  • Maintain and monitor controls designed to assure full compliance with all federal, state, corporate and property laws, policies and/or mandates.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and positively across departmental lines.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Other duties, as needed.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience in large commercial or industrial building maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC, food service or electrical maintenance is a plus.
  • Education and/or Experience:  A two-year degree in the building maintenance trades with two-year’s experience in industrial/commercial building maintenance experience and a basic proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, general maintenance, electrical, HVAC, kitchen, and/or painting, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience in large commercial or industrial building maintenance is preferred.

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

    Reasoning Ability:  Gain the ability to read and interpret common schematics and mechanical drawings. Gain the ability to respond to inquiries or requests from fellow team members and customers. Must have an ability to receive and follow directions.

  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

    Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Team Member is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, push, pull, carry, reach, bend, twist and talk or hear when performing job duties in varying work areas. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Team Members must be drug and nicotine free.
