As a Laundry Attendant, you will:

Pay: $16 per hour

• Loads and unloads washers per machine guidelines.  
• Loads and unloads dryers per machine guidelines.
• Stretches tangled sheets.
• Runs towels through towel folder.
• Manually folds towels and bedspreads.
• Runs sheets through the ironer at the recommended speed.
• Catches (collects) sheets and other linen at the back and stacks them in appropriate carts.
• Sorts and soaks stained linen and terry in soaking bins.
• Watches and reports malfunctioning problems with all equipment.
• Transports linen and terry from sort and storage location to washers.
• Understands how to safely use all equipment at the required productivity level.
• Cleans lint from all machines in use during and at the end of shift.
• Cleans working area regularly.
• Works as a team with coworkers.
• Keeps positive attitude at all times.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers, and work as a team.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and count to at least 50.
• Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift at least 50 pounds, carry, push/pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, talk, and hear.
• Manual dexterity to include handling linen and garments.
• Ability to differentiate variations in color.
