  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment - Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
  • Safeguard casino assets at all times.
  • Manage supervisory staff to ensure consistent operations of all shifts. 
  • Train supervisors to ensure they have the necessary skills needed to effectively supervise their shifts in the absence of the Casino Controller.
  • Responsible for all schedules for both Hard Count and Soft Count to ensure efficient operation dictated by daily business levels and necessary duties pertaining to each shift.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and supplies for daily functions of both areas.
  • Schedule routine cleaning and inspection of all necessary equipment and must ensure the count rooms are in good repair and clean at all times.
  • Support and train all Count staff in order to ensure their duties are performed correctly and in a timely manner necessary to support the casino operation.
  • Perform any and all count room duties as necessary to ensure completion of all count room duties in a timely manner. 
  • Interview, select and train new team members.
  • Review, adjust and administer working schedules of team members.
  • Assign and apportion work to be done among team members.
  • Plan work processes and determine effective techniques or processes to be used by team members in the course of business.
  • Supervise and manage the work processes or procedures of team members.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • BA or BS in Business preferred.
  • three to five years experience in high volume count room required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces
