The Digital Marketing Manager drives our digital marketing and social media strategies forward, leveraging their expertise to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and ultimately drive growth across various digital platforms.

 

  • Proactively and creatively engages all departments to create compelling content that engages our guests and tells the story of Hollywood Casino Toledo.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees marketing initiatives across various digital platforms including web and social, maintaining brand coherence throughout all channels and accounts.
  • Engages with cross-functional team stakeholders (such as F&B, entertainment, etc.) and corporate web team to comprehend requirements and specifications for web and social content creation.
  • Revises, proofreads, upkeeps, constructs, and publishes web landing pages in accordance with business needs, ensuring alignment with relevant brand guidelines.
  • Leverages analytical skills to assess the entire customer journey across all touchpoints and channels, recommending data-driven adjustments as necessary to enhance the overall experience.
  • Examines, assesses, and quality-assures content, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance search discoverability.
  • Strategically plans, produces and publishes content on social media platforms; including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X – in coordination with our enterprise marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Collaborates with the marketing, food and beverage, entertainment, human resources teams, and other on-property teams to coordinate, schedule, and implement content in accordance with a property-level content calendar.
  • Develops, captures, curates, and edits visually appealing and compelling content that captures all elements of the guest experience in alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Identifies new opportunities to increase following across social accounts and create revenue opportunities.
  • Responsible for daily response, tagging, and community management to all guest commentary across all active social platforms in a timely manner.
  • Builds organic community engagement through thoughtful commentary.
  • Monitors engagements and trends to inform the team of new content opportunities that align with the content calendar and enterprise marketing goals.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Social Media Manager to define strategic goals that align with both property and corporate strategy.
  • Works closely with the Paid Social Buyer to create synergy between organic and paid strategies, aiming to optimize overall social outcomes and ensure consistency of the campaign on web, creating web landing pages and updating content as needed.
  • Researches, identifies, develops and manages programs and events with social media influencers.
  • Analyzes and reports web and social media analytics, adjusting content strategy to capitalize on data-driven insights and opportunities.
  • Oversees the business's online presence and promptly addresses all online reviews, striving for a response rate of 90% or higher. Shares feedback obtained from online reviews with pertinent leadership teams as needed for appropriate action.
  • Handles the opening, closing, and modification of entities as needed on the online listings platform.
  • Complies with all state and jurisdictional regulatory standards within the designated area of responsibility, and promptly informs management of any potential issues.
  • Responsible for all quick turnaround creative needs/implementation for the property including, but not limited to, print/digital signage needs, menus, and website updates.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in marketing, communications, journalism, pr, media or related field; with a minimum of two years’ experience in digital marketing or social media, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Gaming experience is preferred but not required.
  • Portfolio showcasing demonstrated ability in storytelling and ability to create social media content: copywriting, photography and video.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts for social media campaigns, promotions, and storytelling that resonate with diverse audiences and drive meaningful interactions.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics, brand consistency and ability to create content that follows brand guidelines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale social media accounts with a demonstrated ability to drive results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand objectives and messaging.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
  • Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with social media and creative software tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Suite, and Shortstack.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Strong knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics / Looker)
  • Familiarity with creating and publishing content through content management systems (preferably Sitecore).
  • Fundamental comprehension of HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and comfort with content-related SEO strategies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
