Responsibilities include: 

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install plumbing systems and fixtures in a hotel / casino environment.
• Respond to and repair leaks on plumbing systems in the hotel and casino.
• Perform new installations as required, which includes running new lines and installing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads etc.
• Respond to drain back-ups on the property and take the necessary actions to clear them.
• Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
• Design and implement plans for new installations.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
  

• Must have experience with working with copper, PEX, PVC and black pipe.
• Must have experience sweating and soldering joints as well as solder repairs on leaking plumbing lines.
• Must be familiar with the operation of cooling and heating systems in hotel rooms particularly with fan coil units.
• Must have experience in the use of drain cleaning equipment.
• Experience with the installation and operation of fire sprinkler systems is desired but not required.
• Must have journeyman level experience or equivalent in the plumbing trade with 5 years’ experience.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detailed.
