ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

  • Develops and ensures timely execution of Marketing calendar
  • Requests audience builds and creative designs for all direct mail and email campaigns
  • Meets with Marketing Communications Center on a recurring basis to ensure all drop dates are met
  • Develops all DM keys and matrices and ensures they are approved and submitted in a timely manner
  • Procures gifts for all promotional gift days
  • Leads development, implementation and analysis of test and control campaigns
  • Deploys monthly Uber credit program
  • Builds campaigns in MGT for drawings, gift and multiplier days
  • Reviews monthly reports to ensure optimization of DM reinvestment spend
  • Responsible for the management of all property Special Events & Promotions including slot tournaments, brand promotions and VIP events.
  • Provides oversight of media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develops and coordinates all aspects of each special event from conception to implementation and assists in conducting on-site promotions.
  • Responsible for leading the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Maintains exceptional knowledge of the Local Las Vegas market and participates in comprehensive competitor shopping program.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • This position may require travel
  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                    

This job will have supervisory responsibilities.

  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience required, preferably in Casino or Database Marketing.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical proficiency & knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written direction and drive toward results.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary to include working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Strong understanding of gaming industry, special events and entertainment related activities helpful.
  • Independently initiates, follows up, and completes assignments on time and on budget.
  • Ability to interface professionally with casino customers, business contacts and internal departments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment and tact.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

STARTING SALARY

Starting at $90,000 annually, based on experience
