Table Games Dealer School Starting March 2 - No Experience Needed

We are looking for engaging outgoing individuals who would like to start a career in the gaming industry as a Table Games Dealer.  We are scheduled to host an on-site Dealer School beginning Sunday March 2 and will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete in which time you will learn basic fundamentals of Blackjack as well as various other card games offered at the casino.  At the conclusion you will audition your skills and be considered to become a Dealer at Hollywood Casino Perryville.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled and entertaining environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence are paramount.
• Provides accurate and efficient dealing at assigned table games by providing the rules of the game to guests, according to state and facility established requirements.
• Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations as it relates to this position.
  
• Ability to calculate odds quickly and accurately to pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
• Performs accurate chip and cash transactions.
• Maintains game security and always protects company assets.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must successfully pass an audition to determine the performance levels and abilities.
  
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  

• Previous dealing experience preferred

• Knowledge of multiple table games preferred; Blackjack/Craps or Blackjack/Roulette
• Successful completion of dealer school / program required.
• Must be able to obtain a Maryland Lottery License
