Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The revenue accounting clerk is responsible for collecting, sorting, and accounting for the gaming documents generated by the Slot and Table Games departments on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts inventories to report cost of goods sold
- Files, sorts, and matches Casino and Cage documentation
- Maintains the manual document inventory, including unused, issued, and used documents
- Assists in the Audit of the daily gaming and cashiering activities of the casino
- Prepares and distributes various reports to management
- Prepares currency transaction reports in a timely manner
- Assists in maintaining patron tax files
- Assists in performing card, dice, chip, and/or token Audits as necessary
- Audits non-gaming revenues by reviewing, recording, and balancing all Cashier activity
- Conducts inventories by taking a physical count of food, beverage, retail, and tobacco items
- Prepares variance reports, potential revenue reports, and other cost analysis as required
- Audits Outlet Cashier activity and generates Cashier variance reports
- Summarizes outlet revenue by type (cash, coupon, comp)
- Participates in inventories of food, beverage, retail, tobacco items, and warehouse
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience related to the nature of the position
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem-solving
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
