Responsibilities include:

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Ensure proper care, handling, management, and inventory of all AV and AV-related gear.
  • Troubleshoot, install, and integrate all forms of AV and AV-related hardware and software.
  • Maintain and implement cable management environment.
  • Support on-property entertainment, including bands, DJs, and guest events.
  • Remain abreast of current AV trends.
  • Work with property AV and IT team members, aiding, as necessary.
  • Protect and preserve the assets of the company.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to IT Manager.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years AV experience in hospitality environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be highly organized with excellent knowledge of all aspects of AV including signal flow, equipment functionality and programming, and resolve any system punch list items.
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of digital signage systems, audio and amplification hardware and software, and TV/monitor hardware.
  • Experience with modern DSP distribution, Cobranet/Dante and code-based command/control platforms included, but not limited to, Crestron or AMX
  • Experience with encryption/decryption of modern broadcast formats, modern projection techniques and screen formatting.
  • Ability to read, create/maintain, and interpret low voltage drawings.
  • Comfortable with interacting and understanding client needs and managing expectations.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintin a Colorado Support Gaming License
