Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Responsible for supervising the activities of Slot personnel and ensuring the profitability of the operation during an assigned shift. - Schedules, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises staff in order to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives. - Establishes and monitors standard operating procedures, guidelines, and objectives; and maintains administrative processes. - Ensures efficiency of slot machines and related gaming equipment during assigned shift. - Verifies jackpot payouts, when applicable, in accordance with established procedures. - Maintains appropriate staffing in order to maintain efficient operation of the Slot floor. - Assists with service light calls according to established procedures. - Supervises the operation of slot machines to ensure machine security, compliance with established departmental policies and guidelines, and adherence to gaming regulations. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum one (1) year of experience in Slots required; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred, but not required. - Must be familiar with Slots operations. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Must be knowledgeable of applicable state gaming laws and regulations. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have knowledge of Slots operating systems. - Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. - Highly organized and detail oriented. - Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. - Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
