Job Title: Front of House F&B Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Front of House F&B Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of all Front of House Food & Beverage (F&B) leaders and operations, including Restaurant, Beverage, Banquets, and Team Dining areas. This role ensures exemplary guest service, manages financial operations, and maintains effective communication and relationships within the team and with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of Restaurant, Beverage, Banquets, and Team Dining areas.
  • Ensure all team members and leaders provide exemplary guest service.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information disclosed by any Cactus Petes entity.
  • Manage financial operations, including budget, P&L, labor costs, controllables, and cost of goods. Implement corrective actions to control costs and maximize revenues.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all Front of House F&B team members through pre-shift meetings, coaching, one-on-one meetings, and team training.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to meet guest needs.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with back of the house personnel.
  • Oversee and manage the ordering and supply process for Front of House operations, ensuring effective procedures are followed.
  • Uphold HR and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Track team member attendance and manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting through the Kronos system.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are exceeded in all areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and complete monthly safety documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date cash handling procedures and ensure adherence.
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service issues, respond to guest complaints, and take corrective actions as necessary. Address guest comments through the Medallia survey reporting software.
  • Communicate guest feedback and menu items with chefs.
  • Conduct random table touches to review service and daily operations.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement effective team member training programs.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a fast-paced food service or similar environment is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service in line with department and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff, including development and training programs.
  • Manage the rewards and recognition program to enhance employee engagement.
  • Evaluate team members and provide constructive feedback on performance, including coaching, discipline, and annual reviews.
  • Make staffing recommendations, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Develop and expedite work procedures to ensure efficient workflow.

STARTING SALARY
