Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities include: 

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, including relationship marketing, promotions, entertainment, and events, alongside the development of support materials and in-house creative initiatives from concept to fulfillment, such as collateral and signage.
• Assists in the set-up, execution and breakdown of all on-site and off-site promotions, entertainment and special events: to include but not limited to, tournaments, promotions, VIP parties, and festivals.
• Works within a team to ensure that all items needed to carry out all marketing programming are in the appropriate place in a timely manner.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of all marketing programming to effectively explain policies and procedures to customers.
• Presents/Speaks on stage if necessary, using a microphone for announcements for drawings and/or events.
• Responsible for educating patrons on the value of the loyalty program; assists patrons with questions as they relate to the property and loyalty program.
• Assists and supports the Marketing Department with generating App activations for PENN Play, ESPN BET™, casino promotions and events on select shifts by performing various duties to support customers’ visits and/or events.
• Supports operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
• Supports the efforts and projects of the VP of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Assistant Marketing Manager and/or Assistant Promotions & Events Manager as requested.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior internal and external customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in marketing, communications, business, or related field; internships or certifications in marketing or operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail and social media ideal.
• Proven time-management, creative and critical thinking skills preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, vendors, and other contacts.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic, tactful, and positive manner.
• Ability to work varying shifts or schedules to reflect the business needs of the property including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
