Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Provides exceptional guest service by greeting guests as they approach and/or enter the parking lot and/or casino.
• Positively responds to all customer concerns and issues to promote a return visit.
• Positively communicates and promotes property marketing events and activities to guests.
• Promotes a positive environment for both team members and guests.
• Drives the guest service vehicle from pick up area to destination according to assigned schedule and rotation.
• Monitors the parking lot and/or event space to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment for our guests and team members.
• Operates radio or similar device to communicate with security dispatch, or other departments as necessary.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of player tracking information.
• Effectively responds to supervisor’s requests in all areas of guest interaction and guest concerns.
• Assists in the execution of marketing programs, casino promotions, and entertainment events as assigned.
• Complies with company policies; all state and federal regulations; and internal controls as it relates to this position.

Team Members within this position will typically spend 80% or more of their time greeting guests in an outdoor setting, providing shuttle services to and from the casino entrance. Team Members may be required to perform duties outside their normal job descriptions where, in the company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest services.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of one year of guest service experience.

• Bus/Shuttle driving experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times. 
• Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Must apply and be approved for a gaming license from the state of Illinois.

• Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and meet the required driving history requirements as defined within the Company’s Motor Vehicle Driving policy (an MVR background check is required).
