Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the department including Advertising, Promotions, Social Media, Entertainment, Public Relations, and Casino Marketing.
  • Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in all areas of responsibility.
  • Develops and implements annual marketing plan for multi-properties, that supports the overall brand strategy for the company.
  • Builds loyalty and develops sustained effective relationships among valued VIP customers; establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
  • Responsible for assessing, anticipating and reacting to the competitive marketplace regarding marketing strategies, programs, campaigns, and promotions. 
  • Builds long term relationships with customers to strengthen the brand value.
  • Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner to support all marketing initiatives while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Manages the P&L for the department and reports budget concerns / deviations to Executive Management / GM.
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.  Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.  
  • Ensures coordination with support departments to ensure all resources are available to run programs, events, & promotions. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, Master’s Degree preferred; or seven years progressively more challenging experience in a senior marketing role with direct responsibility for revenue generation or equivalent combination of education and experience. Leadership experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements, competitive information and develop plans with measurable results.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, executives and employees.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.

STARTING SALARY

$90,000 to $105,000 annually, based on experience
