GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.  - Responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in assigned section. - Fills all reasonable guest requests and directs the guest to the appropriate person for assistance. - Adhere to safe handling of all chemicals. - Report any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, or the Housekeeping Manager. - Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings. - Follow the established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms. - Clean and service guest rooms as outlined in the housekeeping training manual. - Report room status on room attendant sheets. - Restock housekeeping room attendant carts with guest supplies and chemicals. - Maintain housekeeping room attendant carts and work areas in an orderly and neat manner. - Report damage, improvement or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate housekeeping supervisor. - Must complete all assigned rooms in a timely manner. 

 - Must be at least 17 years of age. - Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift. - Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work. - Strong guest service skills. - No formal education required. - Six months prior cleaning experience preferred.
