As a Lead Barista you will,

Shift: 6am- 2pm | Pay: $17 per hour plus tips (Tip Avg. $50- $200 per shift)

• Portray an outgoing friendly demeanor towards guests and team members, responding to needs with a sense of urgency. 
• Organize and delegate work assignments as needed. 
• Assist in guidance and training of barista staff ensuring work procedures, quality standards and menu specifications are adhered to. 
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks, such as, espresso, café latte, and cappuccino, by following recipes and preparation techniques.  
• Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for transaction payments and transports monies to and from the main credit cage. 
• Deliver guest orders. 
• Ensure guest satisfaction through food quality checks and respond to guest complaints. 
• Maintain equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing cleaning and preventive maintenance. 
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products. 
• Maintain a clean and welcoming dining room with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety 
• Ensure all assigned areas and equipment are used in a sanitary, safe and effective manner. 
• Ensure all product is available and on hand by doing weekly inventory. 
• Assist leadership team by completing ordering/par level sheet. 
• Ensure that all product is ready for next shift.  
• Complete opening, closing and other duties as assigned by leadership. 

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Possesses ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation. This is typically attained through a minimum of 3 years professional cooking experience. 
• Possesses ability to complete all cook and assistant cook duties including washing, slicing, peeling and/or cutting various foods to prepare for cooking or serving. 
• Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures. 
• Can effectively communicate with team members and guests in English (speak, read, write). 
• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). 
• Possesses basic organizational skills (i.e. office organization, electronic files, equipment, supplies). 
• Presents themselves in a professional manner and understands the need to be flexible with schedule, tasks, and responsibilities based on the needs of the business and the team.
