Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

- Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Count Room. Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

- Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving deadlines.

- Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensures compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reports budget concerns to manager.

- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of departmental customer service goals.

- Guides employees to maintain compliance with internal controls and departmental policies and procedures.

- Develops and maintains daily drop schedule; responsible for the approval process of the drop schedule.

- Ensures soft currency is accounted for and recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Manually counts large amounts of currency.

- Reviews and compiles reports generated by Soft Count.

- Ensures company assets are properly accounted for and secured.

- Accounts for all Table Games documentation.

- Oversees the maintenance of machinery used in Count Room operations.

- Ensures that access to the Count Room is by authorized personnel only, and that keys to sensitive areas are properly controlled.

- Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to Executive Management/GM.

- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) with emphasis in Business or Finance strongly preferred.

- Minimum two (2) years of experience in count operations or similar functions required; prior supervisory experience preferred. 

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

- Ability to read and comprehend company policy and procedures manuals, as well as departmental correspondence. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and team members.

- Ability to write business correspondence, procedures, and departmental incident reports.

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to obtain support for ideas and actions from subordinates, peers, or superiors in order to accomplish a task or goal.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
