Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

SUMMARY:  The Leadership Excellence at Penn (LEAP) Program is a career and leadership development program designed for college/university students nearing graduation and/or recent graduates.  In totality, the program is 15-months and divided into 2 phases.  Phase 1 (Internship) is 12-weeks and Phase 2 (Associate) is 12-months.  During the Associate phase, participants are hired full-time into an entry-level professional position in one functional area while being mentored by corporate and property leaders. 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Work on projects related to key business priorities in one functional area, determined by property leadership.
  • Build relationships with team members, department leaders, and executives.
  • Complete and present a capstone-type project to senior leadership near the end of the program.
  • Participate in Company-wide training programs and attend key meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Must be willing to relocate for this opportunity and possible after successful completion of the program. Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a business-related field from accredited four-year college or university.
  • Completion of the 12-week LEAP Internship Program
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment on multiple assignments with tight deadlines, particularly at quarter ends.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
