Lead Laundry Attendant

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. 1. Deliver internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests’ problems. Use the guest’s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).

2. Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.

3. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work, ensuring par levels are met.

4. Trains Laundry Attendants, ensuring proper usage and operation of equipment, and proper usage, handling and disposal of all necessary chemicals according to safety standards.

5. Monitors all equipment to ensure equipment is operating in a safe and efficient manner; reports any discrepancies to Housekeeping Supervisor.

6. Provides input to Housekeeping Supervisor of employees’ production performance.

7. Performs duties of Laundry Attendant.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Familiarity with tunnel washer operation preferred.

· Knowledge of all chemicals used in laundry/dry cleaning facilities, including handling and disposal.

The skills necessary of this position are typically acquired through one-year laundry/dry cleaning experience.
