Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a 32 hours per week role within a third party company. The incumbent will not be employed with Ameristar Casino. The incumbent for this role will work in the Ameristar Casino Wardrobe Department. 

Responsibilities include completing uniform fittings; providing face-to-face customer service; receiving dry cleaning; maintaining and stocking inventory; completing garment alterations as needed; maintaining a record of daily transactions. Must be a team player and have basic knowledge of computers.

• Required

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Sewing experience
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of times
  • Experience operating a sewing machine, overlock machine, and blind stitch machine

   

  Preferred

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet/intranet
  • Experience with fittings, alterations, steaming and ironing techniques
  • Experience operating a heat seal machine, steam iron, scissors and seam ripper
  • Basic knowledge in sewing machine repair and/or troubleshooting
