SUMMARY : Welds metal components together with arc and gas welding equipment. Fabricates equipment after original purchase by performing the following duties. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes and performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding. 
• Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts. 
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. 
• Maintain all equipment for the casino. 
• Fabricate new harrows and floats; repair starting gates, dump trucks, loaders, graders and small vehicles. 
• Some mechanical work for dump trucks and water trucks. 
• Complete body work and painting of equipment and vehicles. 
• Operate heavy equipment, when necessary. 

• 3 years experience in Welding
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 
• Must qualify for the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission license. 
• Must have a valid drivers license.
