Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Assist with and/or coordinate HR activities focused on Training and Development, Comp & Benefits, communication plans, employee relations policies, special projects, etc.
- Provide support to VP of HR as needed.
- Monitor HR Budget. Review monthly reports and provide insight on items that need additional research.
- Reconcile and process invoices for payment.
- Support the general business operation of the department by sorting and sending mail, greeting visitors, answering and screening telephone calls, scheduling conference calls and meetings, preparing presentation materials for meetings and training sessions, ordering supplies, and arranging for equipment maintenance.
- Conduct research, create spreadsheets, track data, and compile information and statistical reports.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Provide information and guest service to internal and external guests and callers.
- Coordinate and create weekly internal communications by maintaining communication flyers, bulletin boards, and coordinating set-up for employee events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
- Must possess strong writing skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
- Must have the ability to incorporate creative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Able to handle sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and prioritization of multiple communication initiatives to meet established deadlines and communication schedules for time-sensitive information.
- Good oral and written communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in emergency situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
