  • Supports and maintains applications associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of data for internal department planning and activities.
  • Performs basic configuration, setup, and updating of application, including table definitions and access control.
  • Enters and ensures validity of data entered into established tables, fields and system databases.
  • May build and produce reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of business management and staff.
  • Sets up user accesses and trains users on application. Recommends changes in applications development, maintenance, and system standards.
  • Maintains documentation and inventory of all systems.
  • May have responsibility in gathering requirements, analysis, application design, programming and documentation of client/server applications and reports in a network environment.
  • Recommends changes in application development and maintenance
  • Reviews and makes recommendations for improvements to systems and applications
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes, including Windows and VMWare.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Computer Science or related major field from four-year college or university; or 3 + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener and work well with a diverse group of customers and IT.
  • Experience with SQL and systems databases for report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications.
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills in complex situations, knowledge of analytical tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with solid time management skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Must successfully complete a RAMP training.

STARTING SALARY

Starting from $50000 yearly, based on experience
