The Player Development Executive is responsible for identifying and recruiting top customers within the retail gaming space. The right candidate for this role is a self-proclaimed whale hunter who has an established book of business and knows the top customers within the industry. They must be driven with skills in building and leveraging powerful internal and external networks, while developing new casino customers and maintaining productive relationships with existing customers, to ensure repeat visits to the ecosystem. Providing exceptional customer experience is in their DNA, and exceeding revenue targets and KPI’s for the organization is non-negotiable. 

 

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Carry an existing book of business outside of PENN network
  • Responsible for actively identifying and developing high-value customers while maintaining rapport with existing casino guests for PENN Entertainment.
  • Prospect casino customers regularly through telemarketing, direct mail, and special events invitations to increase the number of return trips to PENN Entertainment.
  • Understands and applies complimentary policies by the company's guidelines.
  • Makes room, restaurant, show, spa, limo, plane, and golf reservations for new and existing casino patrons, ensuring that guest accommodations and verifications are accomplished professionally.
  • Assists in the resolution of customer challenges. Provides consistent, timely, and accurate information and finds an answer when unsure.
  • Makes recommendations for new programs and promotional activities that will stimulate and return new business in the market for high-end customers.
  • Provides professional representation on behalf of the company for all events
  • Must be trained and certified on all regulatory policies regarding credit and collections (Title 31).
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • A self-proclaimed hunter- someone who knows the biggest customers in the industry and how to recruit and service them.
  • An entrenched individual within the gaming industry, who has an established book of business that is loyal and willing to migrate.
  • 5+ years of Player Development/ Key Account Management or equivalent.
  • Proven success with managing and developing the top 2% of a VIP player database.
  • Proven experience in lead generation and business development programs.
  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain a gaming license.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.  Written communication skills in English may also be required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

STARTING SALARY

Starting at $176,000 annually, plus LTI
