Wash dishes and pots.
Mops floors.
Disposes of garbage and grease.
Maintains par levels of plates, glassware, silverware, condiments, and all other items.
Breaks down all trays of dirty dishes brought from the dining room.
Carries dirty dishes from the breakdown area to the dishwashing area.
Uses step ladder to clean walls, vent-a-hoods, lights, and glass.
Removes all bagged dirty linen and replaces the linen.
Works well with all other restaurant employees to promote a team-first atmosphere.
Displays an energetic attitude while working with guests and employees.
Maintains appearance and organization of the back line, ensuring that the service coolers are cleaned and supplied.
Maintains standards set by management in scraping, racking, stacking, and washing of chinaware, glassware, and silver.
Informs supervisor/management of any items on back line or side stations that require attention.
Uses proper procedures when signing in/out or clocking in/out for his/her shift and allowed breaks.
Is responsible for keeping the work area clean and sanitary.
Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils, segregates, and removes garbage, and cleans garbage containers.
Performs deep cleaning by cleaning the kitchen equipment, including all kitchen stoves, in preparation for the next business day.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
