Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. Specific benefits—such as day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and annual performance bonus—may vary by position. Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.

• Provides superior customer service in the VIP Room, Promotions, and Events. Demonstrates ability to positively effect interactions with customers and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
• Check guest in at VIP room podium
• Insure smooth operation of VIP room, monitor food and beverage service, and assist in general operations of food and beverage needs in VIP Room
• Take guest complimentary requests and seek host approval
• Assist guest with questions, inquires, promotions and general activities on casino floor at host podium
• Answer in coming phone calls in VIP room and Host Podium
• Assist the Marketing team at Promotions and EventsAssist casino hosts with arranging amenities at Boomtown Casino & Hotel. 
• Attending and assist at VIP events
• Assist with off-site VIP events such as professional sport games, golf tournaments, concerts, racing events and trade shows

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license and hold a Louisiana ABO card.
• One year of proven experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other similar computer applications.
