Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • This position is responsible for supporting omnichannel app activations, casino promotions and events.
  • Assists and supports the Marketing Department with generating App activations for PENN Play, ESPN BET, iGaming and social gaming, casino promotions and events on select shifts by performing various duties to support guests’ visits and/or events.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date information for all digital initiatives, promotions and app features, benefits, and details of casino events to ensure guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.
  • Promotes the PENN Play program in an enthusiastic manner.
  • Supports and executes any department and property guest service initiatives.
  • Places, accepts, and screens telephone calls and refers calls to others, as appropriate.
  • Welcomes bus patrons, confirming, counting, balancing and distribution of any coupons.
  • Performs light clerical work to include but not limited to; envelope stuffing, filing, faxing, and copying.
  • Assist guests by directing them to appropriate areas and contact the department for guest needs.
  • Responsible for educating guests on the value of the loyalty program; assists patrons with questions as they relate to the property and loyalty program.
  • Create new or reissue existing PENN Play cards or companion cards as needed.
  • Promotes Hosts special events or promotions.
  • Provides the Leadership Team with actionable recommendations on how to improve the operating performance of Marketing as well as how to improve customer service levels.
  • Build partnerships with other key operating and marketing areas to ensure the seamless transfer of information and the seamless sharing of ideas that could be deployed to improve performance levels and/or service levels.
  • Presents oneself as a credit to Ameristar & Penn Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all company, state, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Able to handle dissatisfied guests in a professional manner and direct guests to the appropriate person or department.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • One to three years’ experience casino/hotel, guest service or telemarketing experience required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Can proactively approach guests on the casino floor to promote app adoption and other initiatives.
