Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Effectively and efficiently schedule the Slot Attendants and Slot Assistant Managers based on business needs.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Slot Operations and Slot Technical departments.
  • Ensures the highest level of guest service is being performed.
  • Ensure that all Employee Engagement initiatives are executed and monitored.
  • Direct the repair and maintenance of all slot machines, slot systems and related equipment.
  • Assist in the development and changes of slot floor plans.
  • Assist in the selection and placement of slot equipment.
  • Interview, select, and train all potential slot employees.
  • Maximize potential for revenue through monitoring of slot performance.
  • Ensure integrity and compliance of all policies and procedures.
  • Manage all slot projects to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in accordance with the approved Comp Matrix.
  • Essential Duties Relative to Performance Review
  • Provide professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.
  • Develop and lead a high-performance department to include at least one internal successor to the Manager of Slot Operations.
  • Create and maintain an environment of mutual and reciprocal trust, respect, and confidence within the department and when dealing with internal/external guests.
  • Reward, recognize, coach and counsel department employees.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of employee performance and department incidents.

  • Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the customer service program.
  • Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
  • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with Communications, Initiative/Problem Solving, Guest Service/Interpersonal Relations, Work Habits and Conduct, and Responsible Gaming/Business Ethic

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems.

  • Supervisory responsibility for the Slot Department.
  • Supervise 5-8 employees directly.
  • Supervise up to 50 employees indirectly.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3 or more years of experience in a slot technical leadership position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have thorough understanding of slot systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and generating reports.
  • Experience with ACSC slot systems preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests.
  • Must have the ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to internal and external audiences.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports.
  • Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to perform statistical analyses.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Advanced computer knowledge; MS Office;. Previous experience with ACSC Slot Systems preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must qualify for any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
