Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.)

1. Directs the advertising agency in effective advertising media schedules with radio, television, newspaper, magazine, and outdoor vendors.

1. Manages in-house and outside agency-related projects through effective allocation of resources, monitors workflow within the regional direct mail pod, and communicates with internal requesting departments to ensure fulfillment of media and production deadlines in a timely, quality and cost-effective manner.

1. Supervises media allocation and production schedules in compliance with established marketing department guidelines, and ensures the achievement of property plan objectives.

1. Oversees outside agencies; monitors communication; ensures maintenance of, and adherence to, budgetary guidelines and timely and accurate delivery of advertising materials.

1. Conducts meetings with internal departments (special events, F&B, Hotel) to recommend appropriate and cost-effective advertising programs consistent with the overall goals and priorities of the property strategic plan.

1. Maintains ownership of on-going programs; Coolsign - monitor and update; Website - update and maintain; Viewsonic- monitor and update.

1. Manages on-property photo and still shoots with outside agencies and photographers.

1. Creates back of house signage, digital media for coolsigns and website through graphic design skills

1. Directs Purchasing Department to ensure that user departments’ deadlines are achieved.

Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, vendors, customers and all levels of employees.

Effective negotiation skills.

Intermediate level of proficiency all MS Office applications, coolsign software, website update software.

Graphic design experience and training with Adobe and design software is required.

Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including casino floor.

Knowledge of strategic marketing, planning, and organizational and project tracking.

Knowledge of advertising planning, development and creative concepts required.
