Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Provides superior customer service.
  • Demonstrates ability to positively effect interactions with customers and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
  • Directs and coordinates regulated activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal laws and regulations.
  • Keeps current with regulations and revisions that affect the company in the area of financial reporting and tax issues.
  • Prepares and updates policies and procedures to ensure a proper process to ensure legal compliance.
  • Regularly reviews work reports, papers, rulings, and other records prepared by subordinate personnel for clarity, completeness, accuracy and conformance with Corporate policies.
  • Conducts investigations of compliance issues or violations; responds to all non-compliance inquiries; may testify in court or before control or review boards.
  • Reports all noncompliance and violation issues to the Director of Regulatory Compliance
  • Approves and maintains all vendor records to ensure compliance with internal regulations as well as federal, state and municipal laws.
  • Reviews procedures to insure compliance with internal Controls established.
  • Tests applicable areas for compliance to the approved internal controls and issues reports.
  • Disseminates regulatory information relative to rules and regulations to management and staff. 
  • Recommends improvements to the control environment the property.

  • Must be able to write detailed reports.
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical and financial analysis.
  • Ability to make strong oral and written presentations.
  • Obtain and maintain valid state gaming license.  
  • These skills are typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting, including the completion of the accounting, finance and business courses.
  • 3 years related experience with one year in the Hotel/Casino industry preferred. 
  • Previous experience in public accounting strongly preferred. 
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
