Responsibilities include: 

  • Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
  • Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
  • Track team member’s attendance in accordance with approved attendance-tracking system.
  • Responsible for confirming department team members’ time in Kronos daily.
  • Prepare and manage departmental schedules to ensure adequate coverage while aligning with labor guidelines.
  • Coordinate schedule changes, shift swaps, and time-off requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Design, organize and maintain filing systems as necessary for classifying, retrieving, and disposing of correspondence, records, reports, and other documents.
  • Assemble information for various reports, briefings, meetings, and inquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Prepare technical, reports, payroll and other documents making independent decisions regarding format and arrangement.
  • Maintain inventories and order a variety of office equipment and supplies as needed and order machine parts for the slot techs.
  • Schedule meetings of the department’s staff.
  • Comply with all Company and departmental policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • 2 years administrative experience
  • Gaming experience preferred.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of College or University in concentration areas of secretarial/clerical experience.
  • Possesses good knowledge of office procedures and the ability to interact within an office setting.
  • Must be able to type 45 wpm.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to make independent decisions regarding format, arrangement of reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to recognize correct grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License

STARTING SALARY

$58,000 to $60,000 annually, based on experience
