Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Inspects incoming merchandise for accuracy and quality.
  • Verifies amount of merchandise ordered on purchase order.
  • Verifies all weights through “spot checking” or total weighing of product.
  • Fills and delivers all department requisitions.
  • Reports any safety or OSHA violation to manager or lead.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Processes receipts of products and any applicable data into purchasing system.
  • Processes shipments to outside vendor and arrange for pick up at receiving dock. Submit daily documentation of goods received to Accounts Payable Associate.
  • Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements for and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
  • Confers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages/overages, and non-conformance to specifications.
  • Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Attends all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
  • Meets departmental uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Protects and preserves assets of the company at all times.

  • Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • May require the ability to drive trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prepare, read, and comprehend documents. Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including but not limited to counting money.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law.

Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces.
