SUMMARY
The Slot Technician Supervisor oversees the maintenance, repair, and operation of electronic gaming devices to ensure optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest service. This role leads slot technicians, supports daily slot operations, and ensures adherence to company policies and gaming regulations.
Provide daily guidance, direction, and supervision to department staff while supporting operational goals and monitoring performance and profitability
Adhere to departmental scheduling and coordinate any scheduling concerns with management, ensuring guest satisfaction is maintained
Actively promote and demonstrate superior guest service in accordance with company standards; ensure team members follow service expectations and address concerns as they arise
Monitor electronic gaming device activity to ensure adherence to established procedures
Assist with service calls in accordance with approved guidelines
Notify management of technical issues that cannot be resolved and when parts or materials need to be ordered
Assist in determining appropriate materials, supplies, and tools within established guidelines
Support slot machine layouts, installations, conversions, and moves
Assist with preventative maintenance of slot machines
Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and player tracking system issues
Complete required documentation related to slot equipment moves, conversions, and installations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within the area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding departmental and company matters
Associate degree (A.A.) from a technical school, or two years of technical field experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of technical supervisory experience preferred
Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) and working knowledge of slot operating systems
Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of bar graphs
