Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

Responsible for maintaining a regulatory compliance process in an efficient manner (saving legal fees) and establishing and maintaining an open line of communication with regulatory bodies.   Essential Functions   - Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies - Respond to requests for documentation from regulatory agencies - Assembles and maintains records supporting compliance with MGCB Admin Rules, Bank Secrecy Act, and etc - Performs Audits and filings of Bank Secrecy Act Areas (Title 26, Title 31, and etc.) - Review and provide comments on proposed legislation and proposed changes to MGCB rules - Review internal Controls as assigned; - Provide regulatory-related information to team members of Greektown Casino as requested - Assemble and maintain records of all gaming and vendor applications for Greektown Casino - Compile and distribute the News Media Report which tracks the gaming industry in North America. - Assemble and maintain records supporting compliance with MGCB adopted rules. - Other job-related duties as requested.

- Good understanding of MGCB adopted rules and gaming operations; ability to interpret and apply rules - Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information - Ability to understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures. - Must be computer literate, particularly, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel  - Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines - Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential discrepancies - Ability to compile reports - Must be detailed oriented and pay close attention to accuracy - Strong writing and analytical skills coupled with superior interpersonal and organizational skills - Possess ability to communicate well verbally & written in English - Ability to provide effective leadership - Mobility and prolonged sitting or standing - Requires the use of office equipment, such as telephone, cellular phone, fax, copier, and computer terminal - Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols - Requires flexible working hours - Regular, predictable attendance required - Requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness.
