As a Hotel Housekeeping Coordinator, you will:

Shift: 2 Shifts - 7am-3:30pm / 3 Shifts: 3pm-11:30pm | Pay: $18.00 per hour

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting our ACES guest service culture.
  • Ensures there is adequate staffing to cover daily assignments, and that paperwork is filled out completely to begin each day.
  • Maintains Housekeeping log books. 
  • Answers phone promptly and professionally, and expedites information accordingly.
  • Works with Front Desk and Housekeeping to input and update room status on a constant basis.
  • Secures and tracks all lost and found hotel and guest property.
  • Functions as a GRA/inspector/Houseperson if necessary, picking up rooms as needed.
  • Finalizes paperwork each day, including key log, device log, telephone log, room status, etc.
  • Enforces procedures for handling hotel property, i.e., irons, boards, cribs, rollaways, etc.
  • Processes and dispatches all work orders, including follow-up.
  • Completes daily Housekeeping reports, if necessary.
  • Works as a team with other employees.
  • Responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to all guests.
  • Greets all guests throughout shift with the proper salutation and pleasant expression.
  • Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.
  • Performs other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six (6) months of Hotel Housekeeping experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Effective communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Requires the ability to use office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax, and calculator.
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion).
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and work on hands and knees for long periods of time.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
