WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Responsible for providing guidance to Marketing Specialists. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Manages job traffic to ensure timelines are met and projects are completed within budget. Identifies and escalates issues to keep deadlines on schedule.
  • Develops, coordinates and executes all retail promotions, direct mail promotions, entertainment acts, and special events to target retail and database customers while supporting compliance to departmental budget.
  • Responsible for the successful and timely execution of advertising campaigns and planning advertising projects.
  • Supports the efforts and projects of the Marketing department and properties as requested.
  • Serves as a liaison between internal departments and all supporting departments.
  • Generates status reports and distributes as necessary. Creates ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Assists with implementation of the social media content calendar.
  • Manages relationships with outside vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective production campaigns. Communicates concerns to Manager.
  • Responsible for inputting and managing job requests in the project management system.
  • Responsible for project management in the advancement in guest service technologies, including iViews, Paltronics displays, kiosk games, etc., working with IT and outside vendors to deliver solutions that enhance the guest experience.
  • Assists with photo and video content for timely posting on organic social media sites.
  • Attends property events and activities to gather content (including evening and weekend events if necessary).
  • Maintains and updates website content in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
  • Coordinates internal support related to each special event, promotion, or entertainment for all appropriate departments; coordinates with necessary Team Members and/or departments to properly fulfill all printed material requirements for promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, and entertainment and VIP parties. Reports issues or concerns to Manager. Provides input for improvement.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Associate degree (A.A.) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related area; minimum of two years in advertising or client services; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in hospitality industry and resort setting preferred.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends, as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit. Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
