ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Provide stellar customer service.
  2. Retrieve dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware during and after meals and deliver to assigned dishwashing area.
  3. Retrieve clean dishes, glassware, and silverware from dishwashing area and distribute to service station locations.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas including duties such as: vacuum, sweep, mop, pick up trash, etc.
  5. Fill ice stations, polish silver, fold napkins, and stock supplies including dishes.
  6. Prepare tables for guests including removal any dirty dishes, cleaning tables, changing tablecloths or linens, resetting with plates, stemware, glasses, silverware, and napkins.
  7. Take beverages and refills of beverages to customers at appropriate times.
  8. Remove trash and dirty linens from work area and deliver to appropriate areas.
  9. Greet, welcome and thank guests appropriately.
  10. Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  12. Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
  13. Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  14. Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
  15. Any reasonably requested job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including but not limited to counting money.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

LICENSING:

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
