Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Plans, produces and publishes original content on social media platforms; including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and LinkedIN– in coordination with our enterprise marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Responsible for creating a strategic forward-looking property-level content calendar by collaborating with the Marketing team and all other property departments.
  • Develops, captures, curates, and edits visually appealing and compelling content that captures all elements of the guest experience in alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Identifies new opportunities to increase following across social accounts and create revenue opportunities.
  • Responsible for daily response, tagging, and community management to all guest commentary across all active social platforms in a timely manner.
  • Builds organic community engagement through thoughtful commentary.
  • Monitors engagements and trends to inform the team of new content opportunities that align with the content calendar and enterprise marketing goals.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Social Media Manager to define strategic goals that align with both property and corporate strategy.
  • Works closely with the Paid Social Buyer to create synergy between organic and paid strategies, aiming to optimize overall social outcomes.
  • Researches, identifies, develops and manages programs and events with social media influencers.
  • Analyzes and reports social media analytics, adjusting content strategy to capitalize on data-driven insights and opportunities.
  • Oversees the business's online presence and promptly addresses all online reviews, striving for a response rate of 90% or higher. Shares feedback obtained from online reviews with pertinent leadership teams as needed for appropriate action.
  • Handles the opening, closing, and modification of entities as needed on the online listings platform.
  • Manages website and makes updates as needed.
  • Partners with the CRM team to create requests and fulfillment of trackable offer campaigns related, but not limited to, advertising, events, promotions, entertainment, and sponsorships through all direct response marketing mediums.
  • Gathers and analyzes intelligence on market trends and opportunities and stays current on digital trends.
  • Responsible for deploying events and promotions through digital channels.
  • Responsible for tracking expenses related to social media programs and supporting compliance to departmental budgets.
  • Partners with Public Relations Team and Purchasing to execute contracts and payments pertaining to influencers.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. 
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining digital marketing assets and promotions in support of on property initiatives.
  • Works with the Advertising Manager to build relationships with outside vendors to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective production campaigns.
  • Periodic off property travel may be required for this role.
  • Responsible for analytics code and tagging implementation in accordance with analytics measurement strategy.
  • Fields customer and employee calls related to digital marketing initiatives.
  • Assists the Advertising Manager with identifying advertising opportunities including sponsorships and public and community outreach.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Management/ Executive Management / GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and at least two years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Preferred experience with multiple communication channels, including social media platforms and management tools, direct mail, and email marketing.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, social media management tools, and/ or Canva.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • For every year of employment, Employee must:
    • Obtain and maintain a license by the WV Racing Commission and/or WV Lottery as may be required for this position.
    • Successfully complete and maintain certification in the Beverage Service Program (TIPS) as may be required for this position.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
  • Employee could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke.
